Another Live jam from the love shack in sunset beach. Live freestyle beats & music! no fancy editing or anything... Just me, 2 turntables,1 mixer, 1 keyboard, scratch live & ableton. And some creative wiring. I hit record & it's on.. Is it perfect? no, but f*ck it neither am I.. An ORIGINAL SET CVD created, produced & recorded on the fly. This is a pure HOUSE MUSIC EXPLORATION in SOUND!! Nothing was prerecorded. The ingredients are as follows: 2 tech 1210's, 1 pioneer 909 mixer, 1 keyboard, Ableton Live & some creative wiring.. And a SPECIAL THANKS to DEADMAU5, COLDCUT & SWAYZAK for samples used!!!!! Other then that this is 95 LIVE MIN'S OF CVD DOIN THE DAMN THING. The only physical records used were some old battle wax for cutting it up. Hope you enjoy

Behind the decks, the drums, the production. You call it. CVD was a professionally instructed drummer for about 10yrs before switching to the turntables about '97. Since then he has had residencies all over southern california & mexico. Not to mention a regular fixture in the early 00's rave scene, opening for the biggest players in the game in any genre of electronic music, you call it. He has gone on to capture a top 10 finish in a national mix competition and backed a prominent Los Angeles hip hop crew. All driven by the love of music and selecting sounds for any occasion. CVD was also a graduate of the SCRATCH DJ ACADEMY Los Angeles, in the first classes when the west coast institution opened in turntablism, advanced beat juggling and scratching.
